And then.... they called my name, I walked across a stage, shook lots of hands, said 'thank you' a million times and I was no longer a Colorado State University Student. I had just become an alumna.
Now, to be honest, when graduation was over, all I wanted was to go home and sleep. The celebrations that weekend had gotten to me, and my graduation time for the College of Liberal Arts was the very last graduation at 7:15 p.m.
But I returned home with my family and close friends whom had come up to sit through the long ceremony for drinks and more celebrating.
